The Presbytery of Long Island is comprised of 57 churches and three new church developments ministering in the suburbs of New York City to the rural fishing communities on the east end of the island. 

The presbytery is currently growing into our new Mission Design for Transformation, and we seek a GENERAL PRESBYTER who will join in our excitement for transfomation through Jesus Christ.  We desire a leader who will continually encourage pastors and congregations while working among us as a partner in ministry and mission.

Youth Director

Mattituck Presbyterian Church

Part-time position available for an individual that will provide the leadership and vision necessary to strengthen and grow the youth ministry of the Church.
The Youth Director position is for an individual who has a strong walk with God and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, and who is in agreement with the Church’s vision, goals and statement of faith. Individual must be highly motivated and have a passion for youth ministry and understanding of today’s culture. It is required that this individual have good leadership, interpersonal, writing and verbal skills. An educational background/certification in youth ministry or Christian education is preferred. A minimum of two years experience in working with or leading youth ministry is required.
